The 60th Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony and Dinner was held on June 27, 2026, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village to honor the 54 graduates of the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 classes.

Master of Ceremonies and Head Training Coordinator, Dean Kobashigawa, acknowledged the graduates' commitment and dedication throughout their apprenticeship training. He also thanked the many instructors for investing their time, energy and experience in guiding and shaping the graduates, serving as mentors, role models and leaders in their respective fields.

Graduates were presented with certificates, marking an important milestone in their careers. Their achievements reflect years of hard work, discipline, and countless hours of training both in the classroom and in the field. Each graduate was also presented with a $100 check from the Union. In addition, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 contest winners from each trade were recognized and awarded a check and prizes.

Business Manager, Sam Barrett Jr., closed the ceremony with accepting and congratulating the graduates for their hard work and perseverance. He encouraged them to continue to grow, become the next leaders and reminded them that they control the path of where and how far they want to go.
