Celebrating the 58th Annual Apprenticeship Graduation

Congratulations to the 50 Apprentice Graduates who celebrated with family and friends at the 58th Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony and Dinner held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. The special event was sponsored by the Honolulu Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry.

The Master of Ceremonies was Head Training Coordinator, Dean Kobashigawa, who proudly conducted the program for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 apprentice graduates. Addressing the group were special speakers, President Matthew Brady who also gave the invocation, Business Manager/FST and Chairman of the PAMCAH-UA Local 675 Training Fund, Valentino Ceria, and Samuel Fujikawa, President of PAMCA.

Each graduate was called upon to receive their Certificate of Completion by Training Coordinator Dean Kobashigawa, and greeted by the Union's Business Manager Valentino Ceria and Management Trustee Gregg Serikaku. Special Presentation from the Union with a $100 gift to each graduate was presented by President Matthew Brady and Vice President Benjamin Panis. Assistant Training Coordinators Ronden Numasaki and Westin Alcover awarded the Contest Winners from each trade with monetary awards and Igloo ice chests.

Business Manager Valentino Ceria exclaimed, "We accept you as full-fledged journeymen. With this acceptance, you will be recognized not only locally but throughout the United States and Canada." With this acceptance, celebrations and congratulations were in order as the evening ended.
