The UA Local 675 Administrative Office explains the HMSA Lifetime Medical Maximum is the maximum medical benefit amount each person in a member’s family is eligible to receive during his/her lifetime.

The Lifetime Maximum was recently increased from $1 million to $l.5 million for members with at least 25 years of service. The maximum for those with less than 25 years remains at $l million.
